The questions importers actually ask us, with honest answers — including the "it depends" ones, because pretending otherwise wastes your time.
We are the manufacturer. Daming has made chairs in Anji, Zhejiang since 2004, in the Xiashan Economic Development Zone, and we hold our own import/export licence. You are buying from the factory, not through a layer of agents.
Office chairs and dining chairs, plus the small swivel and task seating between them. We keep the range short on purpose — it is easier to get a chair right when the workshop is set up only for chairs.
Our office chairs are built to ANSI/BIFMA X5.1 and EN1335 test standards, and we arrange third-party testing (such as SGS) per order. We do not claim a blanket "certified" status we cannot show you. Tell us your market and we will scope the exact testing into the order.
It depends on the model and whether it is OEM or ODM, so we quote MOQ per enquiry rather than publish one number that would be wrong for most orders. Send the models and quantities and we will give you a realistic figure and the price breaks.
Yes — private label is standard. Your logo, colourway, printed manuals and master-carton artwork go on under an OEM or ODM agreement, confirmed on a sample before production.
It depends on use, and we will say so plainly. PU and bonded leather are fine and cheaper for chairs used occasionally; genuine top-grain costs more and ages better for daily use. On dining chairs, the leg-frame gauge matters more than the cover for how long the chair lasts.
For a chair we already tool, production typically starts soon after sample approval. A new ODM development adds weeks for tooling and a sampling round. We give you a realistic date with the quote, not an optimistic one we cannot hold.
Chairs ship knocked-down or stacked where possible, usually one unit per carton, to cut volume. We optimise for full-container loads and can advise on cartons-per-container for your models.
We sell mainly overseas and have shipped to the EU, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, the Middle East and Africa. Our chairs have been bought and audited by importers in Europe, the Americas and Japan.
